My name is Dave Stinson, I’m a Canadian who has been living in Japan since 2006. What makes me a good language teacher?

- I do consulting for Japanese DVD subtitles and used to teach at a public high school in Tokyo.
*I also taught Aikido from 1992 to 2008. I had my own dojo in Canada before coming to Japan.
Specialties and Teaching Philosophy
I have experience helping English with their conversation skills and correct pronunciation. My lessons focus on speaking practice as students talk about the things they know and love using English.
Lesson Style
Lessons happen on Skype, with discussion and grammar topics personally made for each student.
My teaching method uses customized materials. We can learn grammar and communication by talking about things that interest you.

A 1-hour online private lesson with Dave is just USD 45.00
My time zone is Japan Standard Time – GMT + 9. We can schedule a time that overlaps our time zones for a convenient lesson schedule. A Skype account and a stable Internet connection are all you need.
Payments are made through PayPal. I will send you a PayPal invoice to pay before the lesson. This will outline the time of our lesson and what you will receive.
