In English there are many phrasal verbs with the preposition OUT. Today let’s look at 2 more examples that are common in spoken English.
Prematurely (early) and voluntarily leave school, a race, etc.
“Peter dropped out of school when he was 15 to take care of his sick mother.”
To eject, throw out, or forcefully remove
“Walter was talking loudly and bothering people so my teacher kicked him out of class.”
